I have a 1997 Harley Davidson Fatboy 80 in.³ Evo I do regular maintenance on it it’s only got 14,000 miles I was riding the other day on the highway at 60 miles an hour it started clanking. I pulled the clutch motor died. I did a visual inspection on everything and it all look good turned over twice now will not turn over was not smoking or anything like that. Not sure what to look for. Any suggestions

Need more info to give an intelligent guess.....

Could you tell where the clanking was coming from? Keep in mind sounds can be deceiving...

Once the motor died, it "turned over twice", "now will not turn over". Do you mean it's seized up? Or the starter just won't engage to turn it over?

I'm gonna guess you didn't do a visual inspection of "everything"... What did you visually inspect? Was your inspection just an external inspection?

Or did you open up some components to inspect them....?

Did you open and inspect the primary?

Did you open and inspect the cam chest?

I'd like to help, but need more info..
