Does anyone know if there is a way to hook-up a cigarette lighter adapter so a GPS or other items can be used? If this is possible does anyone know where it hooks-up to? I do have a service manual.
I recently installed a power point mounted to the horn bracket and connected through a fuse directly to the battery. I use this for charging my cell phone when on the road. I looked through all my stuff for the papers and can't locate where I bought it. I can also use the point for a battery tender connection. In fact, I may have got it from the folks that manufacture the battery tenders. It can power most anything you want to plug into it.
Thanks for the reply SMenasco. I want to hook up a GPS on my bike. I went on a ride with 5 other bikers and it was all back roads with the leaves changing and all. I have no clue on how to go back there. I don't want this to happen to me again.
Beware!!!! Hooking up a 12 volt adapter will cause all the battery 'trons to dribble out onto the ground. And then Al Gore will accuse you of wasting electricity! Besides, having a GPS prevents unexplainable adventures.
