How comfortable are the Corbin Gunfighter & lady seats for long hauls? Found one at a good price, just would like some feed back on them. I can't afford to waste my money. Thanks.
Frank
Ah come on, somebody's got to have a corbin on here, I've only got about 4 hrs to make this decision whether to bid onit or not. I don't know if I should bid on this seat, or wait & bid on a couple of mustang seats. Please help a brother out here.
Frank
I just got one Monday so I don't know how it will be on the long haul.......it is much more comfortable than the stock seat, though it is firm, I've heard a 1000 miles to break it in.
Guys I dont know if I am suppose to do this or not-- Here is my ebay auction for a Corbin Gunfighter seat I own. Low starting BID @$50.00 for a seat that retail @$400.00!
I think it fits a 2000 up to a 2005 - Thanks for looking! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...67494&rd=1
I've had the Mustang Wide Vintage Solo with Driver's Backrest for about 1,000 miles
and switched to a Cobin Gunfighter with Driver's Backrest for about a 1,000 miles now.
I switched because I like the looks of the Gunfighter better and Mustang doesn't make their Gunfighter model with a rider's backrest.
I must admit the Mustnag is slightly more comfortable and I never had any numbbutt while I had that seat.
Like I said I've had the Corbin for 1,000 miles and it still as hard as the day I got it.
Not bad, but I admit the Mustang is more comfy.
and the backrest just slips in and out of the seat on the Mustang.
Texas Fat Boy, did one move up or down more than the other or back or forward more than the other? I actually need to move forward some. Up & down I'm not too bad. Something thinner in the thigh area would help me too, (30" inseam). Thanks.

The Mustang may be a little more forward, that's hard for me to tell I have 32" inseam.
and the Corbin is definately lower. I had the Harley windshield and the Mustang I looked over it no problem, but when I put the Corbin on I was looking right at the top, eye level. (6 foot tall)
