Funny how you can find things to add to your HD. Wanted more vis. at night in high volume traffic...these blue LED's really make the tail light pop at night.. Night Trains sure are nice to add accessories...just paint 'em wrinkle black.. no worries about getting them chromed or getting the chrome scratched...
I like your lights they are way cool! But I have a question on how you Installed pictures on post? I bought new camera and took a bunch of pics. and never had problem loading them, so I go back to newbie section and they say ONLY 500 WIDE and 250 TALL, so if you could tell me how are what pixel you used I would appreciate it!!!!!!! Kind of Off topic. I will make it fast. Go get a photo program like MS picture-it. You can resize the photo to anything you like, however, you need a picture editing programas most cameras do not have sizes for web sites. Here are two for example only. By the way, I took a stroll along the beach and took a picture. No one was there except myself. Very peaceful. sorry it does not work with 2 photos side by side
You're attached pic looks fine to me...
I'm using a 10 mega pixel camera.
The original pic was 1.66 meg. I imported it into Corel Photopaint and "resized" the image to 20% of it's original size. That brought the pic down to 103 kb...you can upload into your post up to 500 kb of pictures... so I don't think it really matters about the "500 wide 250 tall" part...just the overall size of the pic.
looking at the Texas laws (in N ILhaving blue or red ligts will get you pulled over realquick) looks like the frown on the auxilary plate lighting: http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/vi/Misc/faq/lighting.htm License Plate Lighting Under SB 439, Transportation Code §502.409 has been amended (effective 09/01/03) to prohibit attaching or displaying on a motor vehicle a number plate or registration insignia: 1. letters, numbers, or other identification marks that because of blurring or reflective matter are not plainly visible at all times during daylight, or 2. "an attached illuminated device or sticker, decal, emblem, or other insignia that is not authorized by law and that interferes with the readability of the letters or numbers on the plate or the name of the state in which the vehicle is registered" This would mean that, subjectively (or in the eyes of the law enforcement person), all illuminated license plate frames - especially the neon ones, are NOT LEGAL.
