New guy to the forum. I own a 1992 FLSTC that needs an engine. I'm looking at a running 2010 engine that came from an FLSTC. Would this engine bolt into my stock frame and otherwise be compatible? It does not have the primary inner and outer covers but I have a set from an s&s engine, if they'll fit. Sorry to sound like an idiot.
Not a direct swap. However Vulcan Engineering has an adapter plate to put a late model TC in an Evo frame. I've not personally used one, but a call to them would give you the info you would need.
There would be the need to adapt inside primary parts, motor sprocket, clutch basket etc. Vulcan also has conversion motor sprockets.
