Default Tombstone tail light?

Can a tombstone tail light be mounted to a Hydra-Glide (same as Heritage Classic)rear fender without butchering the fender?

Different taillight mounting. You would have to get a rear fender from
an 18 & up Deluxe and have it painted to match. Which may or may
not hurt the value of a Ltd edition model. I looked into this years ago.
I had a rear fender off a Deluxe for my 00 Heritage. Definently different.
I think there is an after market tombstone taillight that will work, but it
doesn't look right.

That does look good. The one I saw awhile back had a wider base.

It is a 2006 Deluxe. I don't remember where I got it sorry. But if you have a fender like mine with a hump make sure the taillight allows for this.
