I am trying to replace my factory tail light with a tombstone tail light. I am somewhat mechanically inclined, however, it seems that the tombstone light was made for a springer fender. Any suggestions on how to make it work.

more than likely the big gaping rectangular hole behind the heritage taillight isnt going to be covered by a factory tombstone. the hole is too big.
