Just acquired a 2000 Fatboy. I'm thrilled about owning this bike. Came from my brother with 15K on the clock, but surprisingly he doesn't have much info on what was installed from the original dealership. He bought it from a friend that had it all decked out including what he said was a 1550 kit installed. The bike has a chrome swing arm, Sundowner seat, chrome controls, and every engine bolt has a cover on it. I've only owned Road Kings in the past, so the softail is something that has me tweaked about a different riding style in a good way. What can you all tell about issues with this bike I'm going to find or to look out for? I know it's a Twin cam so the tensioners will have to be addressed, but other than that what are other common issues? The bikes in excellent condition, but it does have carb issues from bad gas. I'll upload a couple more photo's when I get better access to the bike. Just moved so things are kind of chaotic at the moment.

Here's a couple more pics from the other side. Went to a dealership here in town to see if they could they could shed some light on the bike and give a little history on what's been done to it but it was black Friday and they were pretty busy. I'll try that again another time. Looking forward to spring and getting out on it.
I'm always amazed how some folk manage to look after their vehicles so well. I know it's low mileage but I've seen 1 year old bikes looking like crap. Someone loved it dearly!

Yes he did. My brothers owned it since 04 and bought it from his neighbor with 1400 miles. He has multiple bikes and figured I would ride it and take care of it. He didn't want to sell it and needed the room so he gave it to me. That's one hell of a brother.
