Default Pullback risers for 2025 Fat Boy?

Hi folks. I’d like to move my stock handlebars up and back a little. The Harley site says their pullback riders will fit 2024 Fat Boy but not 2025. LA Choppers “thinks” theirs might fit but haven’t confirmed, and my dealership’s parts guy said the same. I was hoping to just order a pair that fit 2024 and try it, but then I saw an article mentioning the bars or something related is different for 2025. Attaching pics of current bike, and some risers.

Anyone replace their risers on a 2025 Fat Boy or know anything about it? Thanks in advance!

What color is that? it looks almost white. is it the billiard gray?

I picked up the 2025 whiskey fire myself a few weeks ago

To your question, I'm on my 3rd Fat Boy. My first was in 2005 and I had exactly the same issue as you, and went after it the same way. I just wanted the bars a bit higher and back a bit.

I tried some pullback risers because that seems liked a good option. The result was less than stellar. Kinda made it look dumb. I dont know how else to put it

In the end I replaced that with some Wild1 chubby apes and the stock height risers. The apes were the 10" ones, which were their shortest
They basically it put my hands at close to the same spot as the stock bars with pullback risers but looked a thousand % better

I tried the risers because it was a cheaper solution, but I wound up spending more in the long run

My 2nd Fat Boy was a 2009 and I rose that one till I traded it on the 2025. On the 09 I put taller 14" apes

This time around I have already made many mods. Just did stage 1 and 2 at the same time this weekend in my shop.

I've come to appreciate the stock bars though. This time I'll be leaving them as is. No risers, no apes

Of course your reasons may not be what mine were, and you may feel differently about them if you get them. We are all different.
Just sharing my own experience.

Thank you chunks! Yes it’s billiard grey—might just be the lighting in the photo that looks weird.

That is really helpful info. I do see your point about them looking “not quite right” on the fat boy. I’ll look into the apes, and also consider keeping it stock. My bank account could use a break after the mufflers, intake, seat, etc. 😅

Your whiskey fire sounds badass. Can you post pics or point me to some if they’re already here online?

Thanks again.

Yes the 10" apes were great. Not super tall, comfortable, and they looked great.

I can 100% relate to giving the wallet a break. I'm about three grand or so into my mods. Saved a lot by doing the work myself, but im still hurting so its a good thing
I'm pretty much set.

You can see some pix of mine by clicking the link in my sig at the bottom where it says 2025 FLFB Fat Boy.

Got any more pix of yours? I havent seen that color before...

Gotcha! I should’ve figured that out 🤭

Uploading a few pics of the billiard grey.

That color looks sweet. I see we have the same taste in spark plug wires

Those S&S slip-ons look WAY better than the stock mufflers. I dont know who designed the stock mufflers but the word GIGANTIC was near and dear to their heart.
How do they sound? Louder than stock?

I have been thinking about a swingarm bag too. If you looked at my bike you'll have noticed I put a solo seat on there.
My wife rode with me for years on the back of my 09 so I had a big comfy passenger pillion, and backrest with a luggage rack on there
too, but I yearned for a different look.

Sadly as we have gotten older she seems to get more nervous on the back and no longer enjoys riding. the upside of that is that I was free to
scrap the luggage rack and backrest, but that does present some challenges if I want to carry anything that wont fit on my pocket

I can always throw the passenger seat on there is she changes her mind, but probably not...

Thanks man! I’m loving the bike. Can’t resist the screaming eagle orange wires.

Yeah, any aftermarket slip-ons or full exhaust is gonna be better than the stock “sewing machine” sound. Hahaha

Have fun and ride safe!

Well my decision to stay stock on the bars was short-lived. my tall apes on my previous bike were too tall, but the stock bars are too low

Going with a 10" ape from khrome werks. It was kinda hard to find bars that don't step down to 1" in the center, but I like the look of the stock risers and didn't want to replace them
and the stock bars remain 1.25" right through the clamps

10" is a good bit lower than my previous, I think its only 4 or 5" higher than stock which should be just about right
All my other mods are complete, so now this should be my last task...

Where did you wind up?

Couple pics of the wifes 25 Fat Boy. These bars are 10" IronHolds. Got the bike late in the year and we had to wait for the new bars . The wife rode with the stock bars, while she waited. (impatiently) She got out once with the new bars, before the sh&t weather arrived, but did love the new bars, said night and day difference.
