Default 2000 Deuce

Been riding my Deuce for bout a year..... I want to put mid controls on it as I'm vertically challenged.
There seems to be no kit available anywhere I've looked so far.
Anyone out there got intel on parts, kits or info on mods for this?
Thanks for responding......

This isn't one of those areas where it needs to be a "FXSTD" specific part. The controls on a Deuce are standard-fare, run of the mill Softail pieces. This V-Twin conversion kit should work, says it fits all 1984-2017 FXST.

Thanks Justin,
That makes sense as the frame is the same.... the Deuce just has a longer tank, shorter seat,
I may have to change my exhaust but I'll check it out go for it if it's gonna work.

Keep in mind that to do the swap you will need to change the inner primary and I'm not sure if they ever made one for a softail that has the pass through for the shifter setup.. They do however make reduced reach brackets to bring your forwards closer to you.. I had to do it on the 2013 dyna.. night and day difference.. I'm only 5'7"..

as mentioned, you need to change the primary covers too

Easiest route?
Put floor boards on it and it will make a world of difference
(did for me)

simple bolt on swap utilizing Fatboy floorboard mounts (2000-'06)
Nothing else to change but the mounts .
Then hang floorboards on it

I take it, you guys didn't look at the kit.. The kit gets around changing the inner primary.. It might take some work on the brake side tho. I like the floor board idea. OP can also get a seat that moves *** forward.

Thanks! I'll be looking into this option as they aren't giving away the mid control kits.
A few inches would make a big diff..... another post suggests floorboards and it's also
easier on the cash flo. Appreciate the ideas

Did you see Max’s post #7? I clicked the link and that kit looks like it has a way around changing the primary cover.
