I finally made up my mind, and boy, were my friends tired of listening to me agonize over this!!! .... I signed the papers onan '08Black Pearl Fatboy, added a windshield, passenger backrest and an engine guard. Mancuso HD (Houston)delivers it Wednesday. I'm happy, the salesman is happy, the chrome girl is happy, the sales manager is happy and the owner is happy - overall, I'd say everyone made outpretty goodtoday.

as soon asI walked back in from the demo ride - everyone in the place knew I was hooked... you could see it in my "cheshire cat" smile. the HOG chapter was out front doing hotdogs and they actually clapped when I rode back into the parking lot..... that'sone of thereasons I chose Harley.... the camaraderie of family.
Congrats. You won't be sorry. To make it sound like a HD and not a metric (not that there is anything wrong with that), you should change out the stock exhaust and AC. I picked up my vivid black '08 Fatty a couple weeks ago and that was the first thing I did. Didn't even hear the stock pipes. They're sitting on the bench in the garage. Some like the stock exhaust though. Not for me.
