Hi
Well I am off to my dealer in the next few days to arrange for a SERT for my 07 Heritage.
I already have RUSH pipes on. Not sure what size to be honest. Don't sound as loud as my 99 Custom Softail I had with Screamin Eagle pipes.
Why because I hate the exhaust flap kicking in everytime that I accelerate and making it sould like I am running on one cyclinder or have a rev limiter.
Should I be doing anything else so it loosens up a bit and I can get on and enjoy my ride more.
thanking you in advance
Along with the SERT, I did Stage1, synthetic and slip-ons on my Deluxe. It runs much better now and enjoy the ride more now. It also helped with the heat issue, running about 20 deg. cooler now.
thank you all
I have had the SERT fitted and theAir filter also doneyesterday. Slip-ons were on.
Goes a lot better now. Now I can enjoy my ride much better.
Like others have said, better flowing intake, better flowing exhaust, and to optimize everything have someone that knows what they are doing perform a 'dyno tune'.
