Anyone get a Screaming Eagle 6-speed gear set installed into
their pre-2006softail trans. housing.....how do you like it???

 

Sure did.......and LOVE IT !!! Made several trips with it ..... had it installed @ 29,000 miles ..... now have over 56,000 miles on it .... 1-5 are the same as before ....... 6th is a true overdrive.... alot less vibration and can drop in @ 60mph and don't have get out until I'm under 50mph to keep from lugging it .... my rule is to shift into 6 th everytime I can ....... of course not in town but 2 lanes and 4 lanes both are good.... I would reccomend it to everyone !!! I did the gearset not the whole thing and it turned out great. DO IT .... you'll love it !!!!!

 

Me too! I installed one in my '03 Heritage. Put it in at 15K miles, have over 50K miles on it now with absolutely no problems.
