Know what you mean Voyager, I just got back from the local computer store and it started to snow.
It wasn't much, just a flurry and it disapeared as soon as it hit the ground.
But add that to, theice crystals that came down last night, and its obvious that Mother Nature is trying to tell us something.
Like its time toput the bike on the battery tender causeit may be a while before itgets to see the outside of the garage again.

I feel you. I live in Ohio too and my bike will be put up for the winter next week. I wish I could ride all year as well, but not in this state. Plus, my insurance goes to fire and theft only at the end of the month.

It sure is amazing how people bundle up for the cold. I was vacationing in Las Vegas in Sept and could not believe the amount of bikers that were all bundled up intheir leather at night while it was a chilly 84 degrees. I had to laugh and I just thought to myself, "These guys have no idea what it is like to be cold on a bike." It just was not a few either, it seemed like most of them were all in leather. Maybe they do it for another reason, got me.

Where is this Global Warming stuff when you need it? I live in Indiana andknow what you are talking about,I am sure we will get a few days where it may warm up to the 50'sor mid 50's and with a couple pairs of good thermals, neck gator and leathers it ismanagable. I remember last year on my birthday 12/29 it got to almost 60 & went riding, what a present to help with the no riding blues. Just keep an eye on the weatherman's future casts and I am sure (fingers crossed) there will be a day out of the ordinary in Nov. and or Dec.

Later,
Dan
