I been looking for a more comfortable seat for the 05 softtail deluxe does any one have any sugestions of what to get , there doesnt seem to be to many out there.
As soon as I can afford it I'm going with the Corbin solo classic made for the Deluxe. MSRP is around $400.00 but you can find it cheaper. They make a close version also but I'm already close enough. There are a couple guys on here with Deluxe's that have gone with various Corbins and seem to be happy with them......
Check out Saddleman seat's there gell filled and there making me one for my 2006 FXST
They have a nice line of seat's, and are good peeps to boot, ask for Cookie...he will tell you the truth!
I purchased a harley davidson sundowner for my standard. To my understanding they make a sundowner for all models. I haven't looked in the catalog to confirm. The sundowner provides a nice bucket and great comfort. Very happy with the seat and would recommend.
I have looked at many seats for the 200mm rear on the 2006 softails and no one has them ready yet!...Saddleman say's the first of Feb....the pan had to be redesinged for the change in the ecm mounting under the seat? HD has a badlander for the 3 models but it fits like SH*T and sent 3 back because of the drilling off center for the rear fasting of the seat on the finder.
Check out some of the new 200mm seats on the stock HD's you can see for yourself
Funny, I have a 05 deluxe and the stock seat is very comfortable IMO. I have the Corbin Solo seat which I love, mostly for looks. I think the stock is more comfortable.
