Want to replace the windshield on my 01 Fatboy and looking for assistance.
The OEMwindshield is $145.00 (17", short smoked). I checked out Cee Bailey's and
they don't offer anything after 1999 for the FLSTF. Doesn't look like Memphis Shades
offers "Smoked". They have Gradient Black, Blue, Red, ect...butjust want a solid
tint.
The price of OEM isn't going tobreak me and the quality is good, just looking for other options.
Anyone know of any otherreputable, quality, reasonably priced windshields out there?
Thanks..........
Rifle makes a good shield. In a shorty and tint. Look at J.P.for more info. B.T.W. Harley shields are great. I wrecked a couple years back and bent the shield frame yet the shield did'nt crack. Still riding with it.
look at the memphis shades solar. that is what i replaced my stock with. cant tell between the two. page #768 newest j&p catalog. should be 19" for standard hight, and 17" for low profile.(as compared to h-d). hope this helps. oh yea...use a hair dryer to soften the factory 2/side tape. install new shield w/o tape. steve
