Is anyone here using the Revtech DFO for their stage 1? My friend has a 2004 Softail Standard and is thinking about going with this model verses others because of the price ($190).

I have one and have the Stage I. However, you can use it without a Stage I. The only thing a Stage I would gain you is a higher rev limiter setting.
At any rate, I like my DFO. It works great and was simple to install and is simple to set up.
BTW, if you are or know any LEO/military. Dobeck will sell you a DFO for 99 bucks. That is how I got mine.
