Me and the wife just got home from the york final assembly plant factory tour.I had great time and got to sit on a new Cross Bones.I have to say it is a very nice bike.It is a radical change, just like my new Fat Bob.
I got the first one in Southern Cal, and I'm LOVING IT! It's my first cruiser, but I've owned and raced motorcycles my whole life. I couldn't love this bike more. It's like they read my mind, and made it just for me. The riding position is so comfortable. It handles very well for a cruiser. Nice steep head angle keeps it feeling nimble. I've only got 135 miles on it, so haven't romped on it yet, but it's plenty powerful for me. I'm in no hurry. Just love to look out at that single light and bars.. It's my dream bike. Hopeing others enjoy it as well..
Its cool to hear some feedback on the crossbones, im torn between the crossbones and the streetbob. I really like them both, i guess either way i can't go wrong.
It's a great looking bike. But I sat on one at the dealership the other day andI must be built funny because it was the most uncomfortable seat I've ever been on. Is that thing adjustable? It's a real nut crusher, at least on my carcass. About had the boys sitting on the tank. Got "escorted" out of the dealership for tap dancing and singing show tunes.
