Are Softail wheels inter-changable?

If both are 00-06, they should.I'm not sure about 07-08's. There is also a difference in the Duece wheel, but I don't know what it is.

I think, most 00-06 wheels are. I know 07s are different and 08s are different from 07s. Confused any? Im tryin to find a set of wheels from a fat boy for my Night Train so Im researching also. Go to the HD website and download the multifit section of the pars catalog. Pg. 66 has all the wheel installation kits listed. Use that a rough guide to see which bikes are interchangeable. It goes by axle size but, even if it says something is the same double check.

Thanks, I was in a hurry when I asked so I left out that my dad's Fat Boy is an 05. There was a set of Deluxe wheels about to end on E-Bay when I asked. There gone now but I will be ready for the next set.
