I plan to buy a rocker custom in the near future. But I worry about one thing. I did not find any informations concerning sissi bar and passenger confort seat for my wife. Is there some parts in the US for this bike ? Many thanks for your answers.
When I was shoping for my bike to replacemy sportster. We, my wife and I, sat on the rocker C at a bike show before they came out. She is not a large girl by any means, 135lbs, and as soon as she sat on it she said NO WAY! So we got the softail standard instead. Shes much happier on this then the sportster. I agree with Grimm. Rocker is a solo or bar hopper not a two up.
You REALLY don't want a Rocker, either versionif your going to be riding with a 'friend' unless your looking to make a new enemy or force her to get her own bike.
ANY other Softail (Excepting the X-Bones) IMHO would be a far better choice for two up riding, with the Custom having the best "out the door" seat. I'm sure there are better aftermarket seats (lots of them) for two up riding on any of the fat front tire (FLST) Softails.
I own a Rocker C. The passenger seat, imho, is for emergency use only, or for very short rides. I would have no problem changing out the seat if I could get one that sits lower toward the rear fender.
It's good to have just in case, but as others have said, if you plan to do a lot of 2up riding, there are better choices. If you are solo most of the time, the Rocker is great.
Do you own one? Have you road one. Its the cadillac of handling. Ive riden fatboy, standard, custom, dwg, sportser, heritage, roadg lide,sg,rk,and rocker c. The rocker c is not top heavy like the other bikes Ive riden, perfectly balanced. the wife and I took off to gattlinburg about 70 miles and 70 miles home. She was fine with it. She said she would want a backrest, like is available for the rocker standard for a long hall. But you cant beat the touring bikes for comfort. And I know my wife could have been a lot more comfortable. With a better 2 up. Bottom line for passenger is its not for the long hall. For the rider if your out for comfort its fine but it is not the cadillac of comfort.
Not much has ever been said on here about the standard Rocker passenger seat you can add on. I'm hoping that there will be an accessory for the Rocker C that will add a passenger seat like this - even though it wouldn't fold down, it would be better for a longer trip than the fold-away seat.
Many thanks for your answers. I need one more precision about the passenger seat and sissi bar of the rocker standard. Is it possible to adapt these parts on the rocker C even changin the driver seat. Do you have any idea ? I ride with a fat boy and my wife is fine with this biker. Can you compare the comfort of a fat boy and the rocker standard or C ? I am sorry for the questions but I need informations of driver.
