Thanks for all the input.As it stands now it's my 07 softtail custom with 5000 miles on it for a springer 04 with 360 miles and $3500 back to me.Any more input?

You would be losing all of the engine updates.
There would be no way I make that trade.
Besides, if you like the springer, you will befurther ahead bybuying a new springer front end for your Custom..

For the first time I see stuped answers to a question.The 04 Springer does not have the pollution garbage on it all 07 and up have. TheSpringer is no longer made and very seldom seen on the road.A Softail Custom can be seen on every corner and are a dime a dozen. Jump on the Springer and watch it hold its value. My 04 Springer will smoke any Softail Custom on the road. Last the engine updates are garbage ask any mechanic. The stroker kit was added to try to make it keep up with any 88. All they did was make it a hot over heating piece of garbage.

Ya thats the way to go downgrade in bikes. No way a 04 springer is gonna "smoke" any softail custom on the road, you arepretty cocky bud.
