My buddy has a Night Train sitting in my garage and we plan to do a bunch of mods to it this winter. One of the mods is to relocate the plate to the side. Now I have a side mount plate bracket for it, but what do we do with the old, molded in lic bracket on the back of the bike? I have searched for a License Plate Eliminator but no one seams to know what I'm talking about. What do you guys suggest?
You can cut it off with a hacksaw blade and a dremel. I then sanded the areas smooth and painted with wrinkle black spray paint. (just the insert area.)

I agree: I moved mine to the side and I even have the moco lowering kit, which takes it down only about 1". I ended up moving the plate back to the rear because I couldn't stand the gap... well, that and because it was cheaper than the Air Ride system i want... hehe
