Hey everyone I am just about to buy my first Harley, a 08 Night-train Black Denim. Before i pick the bike up i wanted to get stage one done and i was wondering what pipes i should get. I like very loud and deep pipes, i have looked at the big radius and like how they look but just wonder if they are loud enough and deep enough. So i was wondering if anyonehas suggestions.
There are more choices of pipes than you can shake a stick at...I'd go into the Night Train pics thread, and start asking around...if you can think of them, someone there will have them. Good luck to ya...
I heard that if you take out the baffles that it isnt to good for the bike and that the bike doesnt preform as well as it should. Is this true? I want my bike to run good and sound good at the same time.

I don't know or care cause it still hauls more *** than I really need and it's loud.
I've got the Hooker troublemakers with the slash down. the pipes are ceramic coated on the inside to transfer the heat better. deepest sounding pipe I've heard. Vance and hines BR sounds good, but sounds more crisp and sharp. Hookers sound a bit deeper and throaty. It's not a waste of time at all to hang out at the dealer and listen to some used bikes or just listen to the other bikes people ride in on. For me I liked the hookers cause not everybody has em, and the heat shields and the pipe are all one piece, instead of the setup vance and hines runs with the split half way down the pipe. I also liked the slash cut instead of the scallop cut, cause it was a little different too.
