I feel it's worth it, and it installs pretty easily.

I'm happy with mine. Simple to install......... two bolts to remove the fender guard, and it slipped right in.

I have it on both my bikes with the siren. I never lock the forks as I've seen people get on them and turn them over. With the alarm and siren the ignition is disabled and the siren is ear piercing. More than once, someone has jumped on one of them not knowing you're not supposed to do that, and the siren repeled them. If someone wants to steal a bike they'll find a way, but this system is certainly a deterrent.

i like the pager idea. nothing like a P.O.ed biker coming at you cuz you touched his bike. ya and i don`t lock the sterring any more ether. i only did it once and when i jumped on it to leave and forgot took off only to put it on is side in front of a parking lot of people...never again steel it first[sm=oopssign.gif]

I have the factory installed unit and I'm adding the siren and pager next week. You can never have enough security. [sm=signs007.gif]

I already had a factory alarm/siren, but I added a car pager to it. Basically I have two independent alarms now.
Pager is well worth sense of security. About 1/2 mile range.

I would be very carefull, buying a security system on ebay...stick with the factory product....just remember 1/4 of the cost? sounds to good to be true method!

Don't do it!
