Finally!!! My 08 Fat Boy was delivered to the house today. I placed the order back in September; easily the longest 6 months of my life. Of course nowI have to wait for the sub zero temperatures to go away (-6 today). But at least now I can sit on it in my garage and make strange noises while my wife looks at me and shakes her head. I would post pictures, but you can see the same bike (for now) on the officialHD website, just look up a vivid black Fat Boy.This is my 1st Harley and a15+ year dream. I have learned so much injust afew months off this forum andI get at least one good laugh a night. Thanks!
Congrats no better feeling!!!...and I think everyone here who puts up with winter would be lying if they said they didn't sit on their new bike in the garage and make all kinds of great sounds.

What do you mean 'new bike', I do it with mine all the time and its not a new bike anymore.
Welcome to the Softail 'club' your going to love it. Not sure about the wife though.
They often getjealous. To them thebike is like a rival female.
Congrats. Another member of the FBWC. (Fat Boy Worshippers Club) Something tells me the next few weeks until the snow melts will be worse than the six month wait to have it in the garage! Enjoy!!
