Default Screamin Eagle Heavy Breather

I got a Heavy Breather installed when I got my bike in Oct. There's only 660 or so miles on it. The filter has turned from redish to silverish. Just wondering if that's normal or if I need to re-oil it already. Seems weird to have to do that after so few miles, just wondering. Thanks yall

That's a dry filter element...and it's normal!

i have the same heavy breather on my 08 deluxe and the filter changed colors just like yours after 500 or 600 miles. the filter is not a dry one. it is a k&n filter and i plan on reoiling mine once a year depending on how many miles i ride
