Windshield bag
any ideas on installing windshield bag, and keeping it from scaring the windshield?
like maybe a spacer made of leather, plastic, rubber, etc.
and going to need a longer starhead bolt.
a friend of mine has his bag up against the windshield and it is wearing the lexan.
pictures would be nice, ideas are welcomed.

sorry - no photos.
my windshield bag mounts on the chrome strip that run horizontal inside the w'shield. it doesn't touch the lexan. I got it from Chilowee.net for 1/3 of what the dealer wanted.
to be fair, I've only had it for about 6 months.... however, it seems to be made from quaility leather. only time will tell if it'll outlast the bike.

Mine mounts the same. Friend gave me my bag. Mine is leather and has a solid piece of plastic that mounts against the metal strip. Thescrew that goes through the windshield screws directley into a threaded hole in the plastic piece. Has a metal insert in plastic. Sorry,no pics directly of it.
