Just bought a 2006 FatBoy with fuel injection. I am curious as to any reccomendations for upgrades and accessories. Right now I am contemplating new exhaust. I like the shorter pipes and I have been researching two in particular. The Vance & Hines Short Big Shots or the Vance & Hines Big Radius. I have heard the Big Radius on an 88 ci but I have no experience with the Short Big Shots. Any reccomendations would be appreciated!
Just put Vance and Hines Big Radius on my 05 Standard. They are awesome. You will notice a substantial performance boost both low and high end. I had them installed at a local shop but talked with Vance and Hines before I made the move. They are very helpful and will help you with all of your questions. Good luck.
As you can see, I have the SE II's, but I kind of wish I held out for some Vance and Hines pipes. You really can't go wrong with those. One big mod for me that made a great big difference on how the bike rides and how comfortable I am is adding 4 1/2" risers to the handlebars. Not in the pic yet, but no more pain in the shoulder blades or arms.
Good luck.

Congrats on the new bike. I have the V&H short shots and like them a lot. I love the look and the sound ain't to bad either They are pretty loud. They don't have a real deep rumble however and I don't think you can expect that from a short pipe.
