Default Hooker Troublemakers for Crossbones

I really want a set of the Darkside Troublemakers for my Bones, but I am unsure which set to order. The stealership has no clue, go figure. The factory exhaust is comparable to a Deluxe, but I wouldn't even use the factory exhaust bracket, right?. If I ordered the set for a FXSTC, do you guys think they would fit? The website says they come with everything you need, so I am assuming the means exhaust brackets. I wonder if there is anything with the floorboards, etc. that would prevent me from using FXSTC style exhaust brackets. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I don't see why they wouldn't fit. The only main differences are the seat, front end, and floor boards.

The only other problem would be lack of weld bungs for oxy. sensor.

The only problem that pops out to me would be the floor boards. Keep me posted as well, because those pipes look like a good option for me as well. Whatever you get, would luv to see pics.

Yeah those pipes look nice.. I am thinking of the black Vance and Hines Short shot staggered pn mine but have the same questions.
Did your riding position Drastically change when you changed seats, I was thinking of doing a brawler seat also but was afraid it may
change the riding position which is pretty comfortable right now.

Yeah, it changed the riding position for the better. I no longer feel like I am sitting on a Road King. I sit down in the bike now like you expect on a softail. I'm not ditching the idea of a bob seat altogether. I am thinking of going with a custom bob seat that is thinner and narrower. It's gonna have to wait for a while, cause I want to get the pipes first. I thought about settling for the V&H black staggered because they are a lot cheaper, but I think I'm gonna wait and get the Troublemakers. I've always wanted a set of these, so this time I plan on sticking it out until I get a set.

Sarge4life. Good looking ride. I'm envious. It sounds like you know what you want and you should have it, BUT, if I had one I would seriously consider a set of black 2 into one, but thats just me.
On another note, my dealer has one and they put black Rineharts on it. Looks bad so black is really the only way to go IMHO.

I have a 93 Fatboy and I have the trouble makers and I like them. What I like is the ceramic coating on the exhaust pipe and the one piece heat shield. If you look at V&H's , they have a seam about half way thu the pipe. And I don't think their exhaust has ceramic coating either. Less heat .I have a truck with ceramic coated headers and they don't produce the heat as regular headers. I am not knocking V&H's but to me they sounded more tinny than my trouble makers.
