These changes are rather straight forward, I've been lucky and was able to reuse the gaskets, the primary gasket itself at the stealership is $45.00. Also look at the Hot Toppers for your bolts, they work real good. Somewhere on here is a picture where a fella put a Fatboy rear finder on a standard, but I'll let you find that one, might be in the standard pictures.

Well replacing the covers with chrome ones that is easy you just remove the bolts and gaskets and put the new covers on. As far as the fender it should just be a bolt on application as long as the width of the fender and tire match up
Can't answer your question on swapping out the rear fender, nor tell you what "hot bobbers", but switching out all the covers for chrome ones is a breeze. Make sure you get the right size Torx head for the job. (#27, if I recall...been a while...) As mentioned, if you're careful you can reuse gaskets, etc. Took me under and hour to swap them all out on my Fat Boy. Good luck with it.
