Hey All.

I want to do most of my own service work on my recently purchased '04 Heritage. I've got the service manual and after what I've read from the forum, I want to do it right and use a torque wrench to specs. So, now I need to get the hex, torx, and other bits I need to fit my torque wrench. Is everything SAE? Is some Metric? What sizes in the hex, torx, and other bits do you all own? Thanks for any tips. Only thing metric on your bike should be the battery cable size 10 metric. Everything else is standard. Get the entire bottom to top standard torques. I dont know all the sizes but I got the entire small to really large set for putting my passanger pegs. Cheaper to buy them by the set anyways. Auto Zone will replace them if they break I know from experience

You need much more than that to maintance your bike. I carry a bunch of tools for road use thats why I know some of them that you need. My friends call me a mechanic on wheels. I let the dealer do most of my stuff just because I am lazy and if something goes wrong I blame them. Nothing goes wrong because my dealer is the BOMB!!!

Some bolts on the forks are metric, the bolts that hold the caliper on for example.
