What kind of tools do you guys carry with you when you ride?

Good question -just installed Fox Creek leather tool bags on my bikes & was wondering the same thing.

No I'm not kidding, I haven't figured out what else.
But I might consider putting in a drive belt patch and a spare pair of plugs w/plug wrench.

Well, it depends of how far are you going to go, but a good starting point should be to look at any of the tool kits for harley that are in the market (as example, Cruz Tools), and get it or prepare a pack with the tools this kit have. This should be a good kit for a weekend, but if you go more far, take with you everything you can

I go along with cell phone
think about it what can you fix ok I have some zip ties some tape a do it all knife and my cell phone. the cell phone will fix anything on my bike ..

Allen wrench set, a star bit folding wrench set, stubby socket wrench w/extension and 9/16 & 1/2" sockets and one of those folding knifes with screwdrivers and an pliers, etc.[/align][/align]Covers just about everything that could get loose while ridding....[/align]

I am also interested in a set of tools to carry. Can anyone comment on the quality of the CRUZ tools., or is it better to put your own set together.

i just got the pouch from cruz. then fill er up at sears.. also you can't beat a GOOD adjustable wrench. that is a must!

I've got saddlebags, so I take everything; wrenches, screwdrivers, sparkplugs, bulbs, jumper cables, oil filter wrench, oil, tire gauge, extendable magnet, flashlight and so on.
