Does anyone know how different the chrome bolt kits are for the engines on 06 softails vs 07 softails? I have not been able to find a source for a chrome engine bolt kit (other than harley). The 2000-06 kits are all over ebay for $85 but no one seems to have the newer kits. Is it just a couple of different bolts? Any ideas or help would be great.
this is the 06 kit I saw, but they told me it would not fit an 07
Check with this company- Alloy Boltz. They're based out of Florida, and have a store on Ebay. I haven't personally used them, but according to Ebay, they have 7500 transactions, with 100% positive feedback. I think I've seen a post or 2 here saying good things about them. Good luck.
I believe the only different between the '06 and '07 engine bolt kits, is that the '06 models still had a primary chain inspection cover which uses 4 bolts the '07 do not use.
