One of the subscribers here stated that HD will not install PCIII fuel modules on bikes anymore because it can burn up the electrical system /ECM. Can I get some feedback about this subject, has anyone had a PC on thier bike for an extended period of time without any problems.
Nah that's junk! PC has been used by me and a lot of my friends on numerous HD's for extended time frames with no problem at all. Sounds like that dealer was trying to sell a SERT or that post was BS.
My dealer prefers the PC III over anything else. He sells them on a regular basis. I have one on my '03 Heritage, installed it in '04 and have over 50k miles on it with no problems.
Somebody is feeding you a line of ****. I have had my PCIII on my bike almost 3 years and have over 48K on it with no problem. Like Bone Crusher said they are trying to sell you a SERT.
that's 100% crap. they obviously don't understand how the fuel adders work. all they do is ground the injectors for a longer time causing them to inject more fuel. how could one burn anything up? my dealer told me I'd void my warranty if I didn't use harley oil and sparkplugs. Idiots! They got the deer in the headlights look when I told them about the Magnussen-Moss act.

Thanks to all

You need to stop believing avery post on the internet. It's good you asked for more input. PCIII's "burning up electrical sysems" is the biggest load of bull $hit I have heard yet....
ManyHD dealers areauthorized PCIII service and tuningcenters.
The PCIII is a reliable, user friendly performance fuel management system. I have one, I tune with it, and it is a night and day difference from stock !
