My opinion, if you want to put a windscreen and bags on a X Bones, you should buy a diffierent bike.
i disagree. nothing wrong with throw overs or quick detach bags when travelling long distances. a windshield is also nice for the same reasons or when temps drop. i don't ride with either now but i'mdefinately considering the options.
Me too..Mine should be here in a week, then I will look into a detachable windshield. I have already ordered the detachable rack. I have a feeling that that "ugly" seat is going to be real comfortable for longer rides.
I can't sign on with the windshield, but the seat and bags that Harley has for theBones are really nice. My rear seat, Sissy Bar, Foot Pegs, go on early next week. Can't wait to get the wife out for a nice long ride... I went with the single sided La Rosa bag just for my everyday storage. Gonna get one of those big ugly sissy bar bags for the longer trips. But, if I had $599 burning a hole in my pocket, I'd be super happy with the bags meant for the bones.. Here are some pics I captured from the HD site.
Anyone have photos of the x bones with a windshield & Bags?
I couldn't bring myself to spend the money on Harley bags and screen, so spent £30 on some sports bike expandable through overs and £70 on a German made handlebar screen which is worth every penny on a long run keeps the wind of your chest and stops the pull on your arms and shoulders
