Default Fender Relocation

I just boughta 92 FXSTS & since I don't plan to do any MotoX with the bike I want to lower the front fender, but I can't finda kit for it. I have read a fewposts, here, about a kit and I was hoping someone could tell me the brand & model #. I have checked the big names including Kuryakyn, but no luck. Thanks for any help, Tom

PS, I want to LOWER the FRONT FENDER, I don't like the MotoX look of the front fender so high above the front tire, so I am trying to find the kit or parts to LOWER the FRONT FENDER. Thanks

Ithink it shoul be very easy to remove the fender and drill the mounting holes in the bracket to lower the fender.

I wish it would be that easy, I would have had it done an hour after getting the bike home. I would rather not use the fender for a brake every time I hit a bump.

I haven't heard of lowering the fender, my springer is lowered. Why would your fender hit the tire anyway, it moves with the wheel travel.

Thank you springerscott, I too thought the fender moved with the wheel. So cutting and welding + repainting would work. Or howabout a larger tire?

I think different year springers have different fender mounts & some sit lower from H-D, I have seen some that have struts on both side of the fender & mine doesn't, it mounts with 2 bosses on the front legs. I know my fender will hit the tire, if just redrilled, because when its tied down on the trailer the fender goes right down to the top of the tire. Also others on this forum have talked about a kit to lower their front fender & I was hoping that one of those owners would have the info I need.
