Default exhaust gaskets

Do you need to replace your exhaust gaskets whenever you remove your pipes or can you reuse the old ones if they look ok & stay in place when the pipes are removed

Replace them. They crush when you tighten the flanges down and will leak if you reuse them.

I've been told to replace them. When I changed out my pipes, I asked for the screaming eagle gaskets. The Tech told me that they had had better luck with the regular gaskets when installing V & H duals. I don't know what the difference is as I never saw the SE gaskets and just took his advice on the stock gaskets. For about $10, I wouldn't take the chance on having to do the job over.

Yep, for $10 why take the chance?

I replaced mine when I changed the pipes. They are not that expensive, so I would say do it just because you are going to have the pipes off anyway.
