I am looking at replacing the rear wheel, not the tire but the nasty, uncleanable rear rim. Couple of questions ...
1. Can I use a softail wheel on the Deuce.... ( yes, the Deuce is a Softail, but is the axle the same, are the bearings the same)
2. What is in the wheel installation kit? (spacers, etc)
3. Since the Deuce has a 17" x 4.5" wheel, can I opt for maybe an 18" or maybe a wider rim?
4. I am looking for something like smoothie rim..
My 2001 Deuce is lowered in the rear almost 2" through the shocks and rides nicely, just want something different!!!
I know someone will say " Just get the Chrome Deuce wheel", I like the solid wheel look but have lost the love for the OEM!!
Any suggestions, opinions or info would be appreicated
