I really like the storage tube (see in sig). I wanted the smallest thing I could get that would at least hold the stuff I needed to carry along with me namely paperwork, clear lenses, and some other small stuff. Can't fit a full pair of sunglasses in there though that's the only thing I wish I could put in there.
Toolbox is the best bet. But sometimes that can be a little small. The swingarm bag is awesome. I looked into getting one but found the models I saw too small.
I ended up getting a friend to make me one up who's good with leather. It's strong and has a metal plate behind it. I attach it with those plastic things. I have it for a spare helmet as I'm always riding people between 2 shops, so I need it to be big.
I did the same thing The Baron did. I took a fork bag and attached it to my swingarm. However, I got detachable saddlebags, so I moved the fork bag to the bottom of my downtubes. You don't even really notice it's there. I only take it off when I wash the bike.
Hello. I used a waterproof discman case and mounted to the back side of the risers on my Train with two small zip ties. Don't even see it till you actually looking for it. Holds 2 cell phones and a extra pair of glasses. Narrow enough that it doesn't touch the speedo housing. For long rides on the highway I can throw in a MP3 player. Good for buzzing around town, less in the pockets.
