Actually Ilike the Rocker C. Sure is funny how you guys flame each other's bikes, and manage to flame another model that you think is not worthy in the process. Guy with a FXSTC comes in and says he doesn't like the rocker..........Rocker guy comes in and wants to flame him back andmistakenly identifies thebike as a "standard", and in doing so let's on that he really thinks a standard is just some **** poor Harley.

nah. just kidding.........we just like the clean slate for customizing.And we love our red headed step children bikes............................so there.I'm off to the softail standard thread where the bikes are just sick........and the heads that ride 'emaren't bloated.

I am not crazy about the Rocker, but it is part of this big happy family that all of us have sacrificed a lot to be in, so if a certain model is the black sheep, brown sheep, prom queen, to someone,whatever, it is still family. I like the Crossbones, but there are some butt ugly things about it, that I would change. I bashed the rocker in the begining, but I am not the CEO at HD, opinions, well they are A holes.

It does bug me though, how some people say they will do this or that, or their "whatever" is betterand then add that their significant other will do something to back up his opinion, positionor action. Oooo, makes it even more justified, just cause my girlfriend, wife, or plain POAthinks so too..... FLAME ON!

 

just back from the dealer ( Sydney ) they are pretty excited that their first shipment of Rockers arrives today (3) - all pre sold of course. they also hadas floor stock ( again today first day ) the base Rocker . like all harleys it will cater for a particular taste ... not sure that I like it but it sure did look "easy" to maintain cleaning with all that grey powdercoat. Personally I'm looking fwd to the Xbones to hit Australia ... we have a few more months to wait.

 

I like the Rocker better than the rocker "c" personally, but the gap between the seat and fender bothers me. I wouldn't own one only because I perfer a bike with a little more versatility, and these bikes are better suited for around town or short day trips. I perfer a bike that does everything well, I can put on my solo seat, remove my windshield, sissy bar,and saddle bags and in two minutes have a cool looking around town bike. Or I can put on all the junk, and the sundowner seat, strap on my T-bag and be ready for a cross country trek for me and the wife. Thats why I chose a Fat Boy. To each his (or her) own, I cant afford two bikes so I bought one that will do everything well. P.S. 21000 miles on my 07

 

impressive - that is lots of miles ... should have bought a heritage and saved yourself the cost of accessories

 

You guys should also give the Rocker a break because Willie G created the damn thing. He's the true blood of every bike that all of us ride and to bash it outright without giving it respect for being a Harley to begin with is the same as bashing Harley's bloodline.

You can say you don't LIKE the Rocker, but don't go off on a tangeant as if it's a Honda (in that case, flame away)
