Im wanting to extend my forward controls 3" on my 03 standard, and I see harley sells a kit to do It, my question is the kit there selling doesnt look like anything more than a bracket and a throttle rod and brake line extension ect, has anyone had any experiance with making there own? It doesnt look to difficult but I might be missing something....Joe
I'm 6' and I have the 3" ness ext. Its amazing my legs feel a bit more streched out. As for barely reaching the pegs? I guess if you had stubby legs.no offense to you puzzled.
Ok sounds like ness is the way to go, im 6'1 and if you look at the picture on my post you can see im all humped up, wasnt uncomfortable at all just not as coll as I would have liked lol maybe a little uncomfortable
