i'm going to run my mouth here, since i don't know for sure,
but
i'm assuming all the softail frames are the same, and the Xbones prolly has just an additional seat mount on top of the normal softail seat mount,
so you'd have to buy that mount and the seat,
does your tank fit the seat would be a question otherwise its just a simple trip to the parts counter
I've got an '06 FLSTSC and was told by the dealer that the Crossbones spring seat pan would not fit on my bike... which confused me, because I was thinking exactly what FatDog said... that all the frames would be the same.

Frames yes...Everything else NO! The bob tail fender is MUCH thicker, A user on here put one on his springer, he used the battery cover from the XBones, but had to cut the **** outta it, it doesnt fit very well, hes gonna change it once he gets a better one
cutting that cover is easy, i liked the way it looked,
and i haven't looked at my XBonesto see how the seat monts to the frame exactly but i bet he had toget an additional mount,
2 of my 3 springers have sprung seats, i kinda prefer their look and the way they fit a bike
at the dealership i heard a couple guys lookin a XBones over and asking the saledude if a fatboy seat would fit the bike (yes is the answer) but i am surprised that anyone would want to do that, i don't care if they do i'm just surprised
I know I've seen 'kits' to put a sprung seat on soft tails. Wouldnt one of those be easier than converting to make a Xbones seat work? Maybe cheaper too??
