does anyone know if a deluxe seat sits you lower than my stock fatboy seat? and r they interchangable? thanks

depends on what year your fatboy is
05 and back they will interchange unless you have the screamin eagle version (wide tire)
in 06 they still had a few with the narrow rear tire but 07 & 08 they went to the 200 rear tire on the fat boy but the deluxe still has the narrow rear tire

my fatboy is a 03. so i think the seats r swapable. but i still need to be lower to the ground. i have a badlander on it now but my wife says it sucks on longer rides.

If you were thinking of your wife you would have left the stock one on, comfortable for the passenger.

the thing is we both need to be comfortable. any suggestions? i need to be low and she wants comfort.
