I, like 99FXST, went the Kuryakyn route, mine have the indicators built in to clean up the front end, and they work fine! Happy hunting![sm=smiley20.gif]

Because I put 4" "pullback" risers on my bars I had the same problem. I couldn't get the mirrors adjusted to adequately see the road behind me. b4 you drop lots of cash getting new mirrors, you might want to look into getting an extension package from your HD dealer. For $4.00 my mirrors are now positioned exactly where I want them and I can see what I need to see -- instead of my forearm. Good luck whatever you decide to do.

ok i need some help here.. i can`t seem to find mirrors that i like or will work for me. i have burly 1 1/4 tee bars and stock n/t mirrors now and all i can see is my forearm up to my elbows can`t see anything behind me.. i like the teardrop style but don`t want to drop a bunch of cash to look at my arms. what do you guys use and whats gonna look kick a$$
When my NT's bars were stock, I took the stock mirrors off, swapped them left for right, and mounted them upside-down, underneath the bars. My arms were completely out of the way and it looked much better without the mirrors sticking up in the air. Unfortunately, the (now) left-side mirror couldn't be angled for a good view without smacking the tank with the fork at full lock. However, the (now) right side mirror could be adjusted for a good view and still not hit the tank at full lock. It sits well forward of your hand on the grip, but if you're 6'2" like me you'll only have about the top 1/4 of the view of the mirror blocked by your throttle hand. If you're shorter, the blockage would be less. Again, this was with the stock bars/risers.

I am also replacing my stock setup with WO-500s and the above trick will no longer work. At lock, the grips are just too close to the tank now. With WO-501s, maybe. With WO-507s, absolutely. But not WO-500s. I now have the same problem as hog tied (which mirrors do I get?). The issue of vibration/blurring is critical. I don't want to spend a fortune on "boutique" mirrors and then have them go all fuzzy on the highway. I'll just put the stockers back on up top if it comes to that.
