I have ordered one and will pick it up while in Myrtle Beach in 10 days and a wake up. The only time consuming part willbe designing and routing the wiring harness for the gauges. I'll have them install the fairing at the rally. But, when I get home, I'll redo the wiring and installoil pressure and volt gauges. I'm pretty picky about my wiring.
Got the Dargonfly installed in Myrtle on Tuesday, and wow! I love it. The fit and finish are great. It adds a whole new dimension to riding a softail. It offers alot of options, I went with the stereowith sirius. I couldn't believe the sound quality at 80 mph. I rode with it 330 miles back to Virginia and grinned every mile.
The next thing is to wire up and add handlebar switches, this will be easy as Dragonfly has a kit. The more difficult task will be wiring from scratch the oil pressure and voltmeter gauges I decided to go with.
It was about $2400 color matched. I love it, it's like riding a different bike. I am more than happy with my decision to get it. It has sirius radio and you can play mp3s via a thumb drive. Once I get all the parts together, I'm going to install some gauges. I'm itching to try it out on a cross country. The next big ride will be the 50CC. I did the 1000 in about 16 hours to get my saddlesore certificate with just the windshield. The dragonfly is much quieter, it's just a better experience. Once I figure out how to get some pictures on here, I'll post.
