how many guys take off the factory reflectors?

With all those blind cagers out there on the road, I leave as many reflective and lit up things on the bike as I can!! I have even added some LEDs on the sides and rear of the bike. You can never be too visible!! Who gives a rat's a$$ what it looks like if it will save your life?

I agree with both sides. Yes my bike would look better without them, but if they catch the eye of 1 blind driver and saves my life they are worth keeping. i also have added some blue LED accent lights to light me up... i'm swaying towards taking off the fork reflector, and keeping the rear fender one.

Paul,

I am sure the reflectors were having to compete with the bikes beautiful shine!! There was no way they were going to win that battle - all that chrome makes you very reflective anyway

Yeah, but that could be a bad thing to. I am always catching people combing their hair in the reflection.

HEY YOU! GET THE HELL AWAY FROM THERE!

Gone from my Deuce , If a cager can't see/hear a big /loud Harley a couple of reflectors are not going to help .

I left mine on my Heritage Softail. Never really gave it much thought.

I think if I spent the dollars on a custom paint job that some of these guys did, they'd be history though.
