Default Braided Cable Question

I'm looking at Magnum ... http://www.magnumshielding.com/as a source for braided cables for my 08 Nightrain. They have a Black Pearl color that from the pictures looks exactly like what I want. A few questions....

Anyone ever deal with Magnum? Good Service?

Does anyone own the Black Pearl color? I'm looking for something that is not black but a little more grey in color to match my Black Pearl paint.

Thanks.

Jim

Good service. Excellent quality!

I've got silver so can't answer about color.

Same here, but I have a minor advantage over most in that the factory where they make the cables is only about 20 miles from my house. So when I wanted new lines it was a simple matter of giving them a call, ordering what I wanted and they called me back when they were ready.
If you have any questions or problems use the phone number on their web site and ask for Sue. She'll take good care of you.

I have a set on my train and love them The Quality is flawless and they look great. I have seen a set of the ones and they are really nice. Not quite black, kind of a dark grey. They added a really nice touch to the bike they were on.

I ordered the 'black pearls' for my '07 Street Bob and was very upset with the color. They weren't black AT ALL.... Don't get me wrong, they were outstanding cables as far as quality goes, but these things WERE NOT EVEN CLOSE to black...They were a sort of grayish color... didn't even look right against the black....i still have them sitting in my basement

What you want are the goodridge 'ebony' series... That's what I ended up getting... And they were BLACK.... and they were an AN-3 line, too

Thanks for the quick answers everyone. I was very happy to hear that they are NOT Black but greyer in color. I’m going for a Black/Black Pearl scheme on the bike and black or chrome would not work. I pulled the trigger and ordered a complete set on the web site. It was a VERY easy process… simply select make, model and year and you are presented with all of the possible choices. It was very simple and priced out less than the Harley stuff. I should have them early next week.

I installed them a few months ago! Not as black as they appear in their ads but I am very happy with the overall effect. I was wanting something different than the chrome and that is exactly what I got. Go for it, you won't be disappointed!
