Just ordered the nostalgic air cleaner cover, gasket, chromite II spark plug wires, and barebacks today from Zanotti. I appreciate all of the feedback that I've been able to read from HDforums. I've ordered a number of parts from Surdyke previously and their service was fair. I did some price checking on the various sites and Zanotti's had the lowest price. From what I've been reading they seem to have good service too (keeping my fingers crossed). I also liked the fact that I was able to order HD parts and aftermarket parts at the same time.

Just got my parts from Chicago HD.
They order my parts from HD and it takes only 3 weeks to have packet to FINLAND
That is fast!Price was about half of Finlands price.
I give them 10 points.

I got turned off Chicago HD when they wouldn't ship to FPO/APO address (they do now) I went with http://www.haleshd.com/default.asp out of Mansfield Ohio and http://www.suburbanharley.com/ out of Thiensville, Wi. Both offer great discounts and shipment is super fast

My first experience with Chicago Harley was good. Ordered wheels and sprocket from them and they said it would be two weeks for shipping. The wheels came in one week. I ordered $1300.00 worth of various parts from them on Feb. 07. Called them today Feb. 22
and they told me the parts shipped out Feb. 21. Two weeks before they were shipped? And when I asked if that was the entire order, they said a couple of items were on back order. If they had told me the parts were not available, I would have bought them elsewhere.
I probably won't use them again.

I decided to try both Zanotti's and Chicago HD at the same time to see which one had the best service. So last Thursday 2/16/06 I ordered 7 items from Zanotti's and 5 items from Chicago HD for my new RK FLHRI. I divided them up to get the best total price. I think I should of ordered all of them from Zanotti's even though it would of cost a little more. I received an email from both right away verifying the order with an order number. That's where the similarity ends. The next day I received an e-mail from Zanotti's telling me they ordered all the items from HD and should receive them in 4 to 6 days. Then I received another e-mail from Zanotti's telling 1 item was back ordered and they would let me know when HD was going to ship it. Then on Feb. 21st I received a UPS tracking number from Zanotti's and my stuff had been shipped. Needless to say that's the way online orders should be handled. I then called Chicago HD since I had not received anything from them except the original order confirmation and talked to a nice Gal who looked up my order and said everything had to be ordered from HD and 2 items were back ordered, and then told me which items those were. One of the backorders won't ship from HD until 3/17/06 so I guess I will be waiting until then. They won't ship anything until everything gets in even the back orders, unless I tell them to ship a partial order which will then cost me a little more on shipping. They were nice enough and helpful at Chicago HD when I called but they should be sending out e-mails giving you the status of your order. I will probably just use Zanotti's from now on. Wow, I didn't mean to ramble on so long.
