Default Wheel size

I have an 07 Fatboy, what is the largest wheel I can put on the front? I e-mailed Hog Pro and they told me it is 18" I thought I seen a post and someone had 19" on their Fatboy? One HD dealer told me I could put a 21" on the front, I don't think I could go that big.

The larger you go the less rubber you have up front. Having come from a wideglide, I prefer the more tire up front with the FB. An 18" fits under your fender properly. I think if you went with a 21" you would need to change the style of fender.

I saw an 06 FB just the other day with a 21" wheel under a stock fender. It looked real nice. The owner noted no issues. The tire is the same basic diameter. It is the wheel that is larger. It is true you would have a lower profile tire, sorta like all the cars running bigger wheels with lower profile tires. In theory, the ride would suffer as you have less sidewall flex.

The one with the 19" front is me. 19" is the biggest you can go on an 07/08 fatboy in the front without fender modification. I got them from hogpro and they provided me with the information. If you run a heritage or deluxe fender, you can squeeze a 21. Im running and 18 rear 19 front with a 120 front and 200 rear tires. No rubbing and I think it looks real nice. I get nothing but compliments. You be the judge. More pics in my gallery

BTW, that extra inch from 18 to 19 really makes a difference, especially in person or front view pictures.
