I just installed the Kuryakyn side mount plate on my 07 night train. The question I have is did you mount it on the upper or lower part of the swing-arm? I'm undecided what position looks the best.

I mounted it on the bottom. Everyone I have seen on the Forum has also been on the bottom. Although the pic doesn't show it, I took the top cover down to the local powdercoated and had it coated gloss black. He only charged me $10 to do it and it looks really good.

Do you guys, or anyone else, know if that plate mount will fit on a Deuce with the HD Deuce leather bags installed? Thanks,
